'Making Sense of Gender' - a book talk, Q&A and mingle to support 'The Psychology of Gender' by Dr Gary Wood. 

It's an informal gathering to discuss the ever-changing landscape of gender.

There'll be a brief talk, highlighting the key issues and introducing the idea that gender as storytelling. There'll be a chance to ask questions and consider how we can tell better stories about gender, ones that are more inclusive and more meaningful to our everyday lives.

You're welcome to bring a bottle of your favourite libation.

You're even more welcome to buy a discounted copy of The Psychology of Gender signed by the author.

Dr Gary Wood is a social psychologist and solution-focused who describes his gender as non-binary. He's taught psychology, learning skills and research methods in several UK universities and is regularly quoted and featured in the media. He is based in Birmingham and Edinburgh where he runs his life coaching practice and writes, usually in cafes.
