Set your goals – get your goals: the mindful goal-setting workshop for LGBT+ people
Often the biggest barrier to setting goals is knowing where to start. This includes the right mindset. Successful goal-setting is built on a 'thrive-rather-than-survive' mindset. We use more of our cognitive abilities in a relaxed state. That's when we're most creative.
In this interactive workshop, just bring ideas of goals, big or small, that you’d like to achieve. You’ll get to try out several methods used in coaching to help you to create a compelling action plan and get started on it. The session will offer tips to boost and maintain motivation too. No previous knowledge needed just a willingness to have a go.
It’s more about taking part than taking notes. It’s also about getting together to co-create a fun, safe space. It's part of Dr Gary Wood's applied mindfulness series of workshops.
