Embark on the journey to sustainable happiness

1. Know what you want

Embark on the journey to sustainable happiness

Having some sort of clarity on what you want feeds excitement and energy into your personality, which many find attractive.

Having no goals, however, can promote confusion and hesitation that can break your flow. It can push you into a loop of zero progress. If you’re looking at ways to provide clarity in your life, start by writing things down that interest you and things you want to achieve in a journal.

2. Attempt something difficult

You can really strengthen your confidence by accomplishing something that you have deemed too difficult or even impossible.

Tackling a tough exam, conquering your fear or trying something new – they can all give a massive boost to your self-esteem. Accomplishing things like this also breeds courage and strength to attempt similar goals!

3. Doing the right thing

Doing the right thing isn’t always the easy option. If you’re faced with a difficult situation, remember to ask yourself what the right thing to do is.

It might not always feel great, but knowing that you’re the bigger person for doing the right thing will help and building a strong character will make you feel good.

4. Make someone else happy

You could share, teach or give something to make someone else happy. Even simply spending time with a person is enough to brighten up a person’s day. Making people laugh is a real favourite – there’s nothing more satisfying than ending up in hysterics after a conversation. But if humour isn’t your thing, you could always offer your help to those who need it.
