Life Coach Annabel Sutton recently published an article with a great exercise to help us all feel a little more motivated as Summer quickly fades away. Her exercise involves taking a pen and paper and writing at the top of the page: “If I REALLY had my way, I’d . . .”.
Simply write all the responses that come to mind, and then for each item write: How COULD this be possible?” Finally select one item from your list and formulate five action steps to make it a reality.
If you’re feeling swamped by life, or you’ve been too busy to allow yourself to dream lately, this quick exercise is a simple way to get focused on what you’d like more of in your life.
