I work with people to help them enjoy their job more. That can mean helping them understand their own values and strengths in order to find a career that is more fulfilling to them, or it can mean helping them to develop habits that are more useful for being productive, managing stress or creating a better work-life balance.
Drawing on my background in drama and a personal interest in psychology, I use a combination of coaching and creative facilitation skills to help people discover and develop their best selves. All my work is grounded in the latest positive psychology research, and aims to help people find their own ways to overcome internal challenges in order to perform at their best.
I work with individuals and organisations alike, tailoring my services to meet their specific needs. Both group and individual work.

Wellbeing at work
I have various rates depending on if you are an individual, business or charity and on the number of sessions booked. These are always discussed and agreed before we start working together.
All clients are offered a FREE 45-minute initial consultation.
I coach in the area I do because I have lived through the experience of feeling stuck in a career I no longer enjoyed and a job I hated with the sense that there was no way out. I developed stress and anxiety. I was using every ounce of my energy to make it through the day without falling apart; I fell apart when I got home instead, of course. It impacted on every area of my life - my friendships, my relationships, my sleep and my sense of overall purpose and direction.
One day, while lying on my sofa exhausted from another day gritting my teeth at work I had an epiphany - "life is too short for this," I said to myself, "if you want this to change, Sarah, you go and change it!" And I did. I got myself a coach, and she helped me find a way I could use those strengths I'd lost faith I even had to do a job I really enjoyed. I loved running workshops, I loved getting creative, I loved developing my team - coaching was the perfect fit!
So I retrained alongside my full-time job before summoning the courage to finally take the plunge in 2014. Since then, I have dedicated my work to helping people get more from their jobs. Life really is too short to be in a job you don't enjoy, just because you took that path however many years ago. There is always another path that can build on the one you've already taken, and deliver you to a more fulfilling place than you feel you're currently headed. I will help you find that path, and the courage to take it. It might mean a complete career change, or it might mean just making some tweaks to the way you've got used to doing things, but it will always result in feeling happier, more fulfilled and more able to enjoy your work - and therefore your life. THAT'S what I love! One more victory in the mission towards a world that loves their work!
I have a degree in French and Drama, so although I've yet to find a direct application of my somewhat rusty French in my coaching work, I do draw on a lot of my drama training in the work I do to help my clients get creative themselves. This doesn't mean acting or role play (horror!!) it's just about some of the ways I'll get you to think about things, some of the brainstorming we might do and some of the confidence-building stuff we'll do, particularly in group work. I am fascinated by the psychology of things and I'm ultimately a very practical thinker myself, so everything I do always has a firm grounding in scientific theory as well. Which I'll happily share with you if you're interested (I know not everyone is a geek like me!)
Other things to know about me - I love to ski, try to run and you'll often catch me signing up for a new improv course. I'm also in the process of convincing my other half to get a cat. There's always hope!
