Hello and Welcome!
If you're feeling stuck, want solution-focused and goal-focused help, then please read on. I help most clients achieve their coaching goals in just 3-8 sessions, many in just 3.
Our relationship with ourselves determines our relationships with others. Therefore, I successfully help my clients with the following specialist areas via life coaching in Stockport and globally via Skype video:
CONFIDENCE & SELF-ESTEEM - usually 3-4 sessions to resolve, chronically low self-esteem would likely take more sessions
RELATIONSHIPS & MARRIAGE - 3-8 sessions usually, depending on the severity of the situation and how much effort you put in
DATING - normally about 3-6 sessions to get you on your way to finding a partner or “the one”
ANXIETY - usually 3-4 sessions to resolve anxiety, even chronic anxiety
LIFE DIRECTION - usually 3-6 sessions dependent upon how committed the client is
BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS / BUSINESS COACHING - usually 3-6 sessions dependent upon the depth of the challenges being faced and the goals to be achieved
If You Want To Know If I Can Help You, The Best Thing To Do Is Book A Free, Confidential Consultation With Me (Face-To-Face or Skype).
By working in partnership with my clients I am able to help them by using unique insights and simple, powerful solutions that work:
♥ You'll be in a safe, compassionate, non-judgemental, warm, uplifting environment.
♥ You’ll make fundamental changes within yourself and your relationships.
♥ You’ll have access to my help between sessions as well so that you feel truly supported.
♥ You’ll invest in coaching once, but take tools away for life!
What Happens During A Coaching Session?
Coaching can be as varied as its alternatives, counselling and psychotherapy.
My coaching style integrates coaching techniques, counselling skills, behavioural psychology, neuropsychology and modern research.
You control the agenda. Each session is tailored to suit your needs. I question skilfully and listen carefully. I quickly and intuitively identify what’s really going on, consciously and subconsciously, allowing me to build a road map of where I need to take you including the stops we need to make along the way. By coupling this with my knowledge, I help you to find and implement simple solutions to achieve your goals.
My coaching style is both directive and non-directive, depending on what each client needs in each moment. (An example of directive therapy is the psychodynamic approach that Relate use, which was founded by Sigmund Freud, and an example of non-directive therapy is the person-centred approach founded by Carl Rogers.) So when you need me to be a bit more hands on (directive), I am, but otherwise you are in the driving seat (non-directive) as you find the answers within.
You are the expert on your life, more than any other person. Fact! I know you have the answers inside so I help you to find them for yourself. This means you practise skills that will serve you well for the rest of your life, and most importantly, put you in control of your life, your growth and your happiness.
By the end of the coaching journey, you’ll have achieved your objectives, made fundamental changes within yourself and your relationships, and you’ll have a “toolkit” for life.
This is a solution-focused and proactive, results driven approach.
Most of my clients achieve their coaching objectives in just 3-8 sessions and normally make improvements and feel happier after their very first session.
I have a fantastic success rate and I look forward to helping you, too. Book your free, no obligation consultation, now: 07890 177 305 | firstname.lastname@example.org.
Testimonials (small selection)
“We both feel much more content in our relationship after 5 sessions of working with you. Things are much easier than they were using your advice, learning from our conversations and from the strategies you suggested. We were really impressed at your ability to support two aging lesbian feminists which we imagine might be a new client group for you! We are enormously grateful to you for your help. Thank you.”
“I want to thank you for all of your help, you made me realise my worth in a time when I didn’t realise it myself. I…have got into the habit of thinking ‘what would Sam say?’ You always see the positives and made me realise that I am doing the best for my boys and for me. Thank you so, so much, you are a brilliant coach and I’m so happy to have had the experience of being helped by you. Our meetings have literally changed my life. Thank you Sam.”
“Things have been great at home as (hubby) has made a real effort and I have too. Things are happier with kids too and I have less pressure on myself too. I was a little apprehensive when I initially contacted you but so glad I did. Thank you very much for all your help…You are brilliant at what you do.”
“I had never considered discussing the way I felt with anyone other than my nearest and dearest and I was not at all sure what to expect from coaching. Sam instantly won my confidence with her professionalism and clarity, and made me feel immediately at ease. She helped me to discover and identify some of my thought processes and behaviours which were driving my lack of self-confidence. She guided me, without leading or prompting, through the course of working things out for myself in a comfortable and open manner. I have developed an entirely new insight into myself and some solid action steps which are helping me in all aspects of my life. I wholeheartedly recommend Sam to anybody looking for support or guidance, and I can testify that her skill and expertise can truly transform anybody who is willing to change.”
“I contacted Sam a few months ago after finding myself stuck in a rut and not really knowing which direction to turn in. Sam helped me see things more clearly and gave me really good advice and guidance. I had two sessions face to face with Sam as well as a lot of email interaction which was nice as it felt she was with me every step of the way. I feel she has helped me get on the right track to living a more satisfied life, but if I ever feel myself slipping it is comforting to know she is there to help. Highly recommended.”
“I really cannot thank you enough for the sessions, they have turned my life around in a way I never expected, and as you say on the site I will take so much away from them for life!”
“I must admit I was apprehensive, not to mention tearful, but talking my goals through with Sam gave me focus, the motivation to move my life forwards and led me to identify opportunities to fix what wasn’t working. In just 4 sessions over 2 months my life, and most importantly how I feel about myself, is a world away from when I started.”
“I would highly recommend coaching with Sam. I truly believe I would still have been floundering without engaging her as my coach. It has been a valuable and worthwhile investment in me.”
“We have grown stronger as a family through the coaching we have received. We are able to deal with situations that arise as a unit, rather than falling apart and this is all through the work we have done with Sam.”
“It has been a pleasure and life changing to have known you.”

I later obtained my coaching qualifications, published my paperback book and began my private practice.
My coaching is simply an intuitive, solution-focused, fast working, highly effective alternative to counselling and psychotherapy. It integrates psychology, counselling and coaching techniques, and it works!

COACHING SESSIONS - INDIVIDUALS & COUPLES
Face-To-Face Coaching and Skype Coaching
Face-to-face coaching sessions take place at the Bramhall practice in South Manchester / Cheshire pictured above.
Skype coaching is used by local clients as well as national and international clients. It’s convenient and cheaper.
Clients looking to improve or save their marriage, or other relationship, will come alone or together or do a mixture of individual and couples sessions. All approaches work brilliantly and the individual and couples sessions cost the same so that the decision is based on what’s right for you.
Ask about unsociable hours if you're not sure I work them. I will always try my best to accommodate you.
Coaching packages and fees can be found here. You can pay using alternative methods such as online banking, and it's always a good idea to have a consultation first, anyway. These packages and prices are there for transparency for your sake.
