BODY PEACE PROGRAM
Having been a life coach for a number of years I have coached clients in many areas of their lives including careers, wellbeing, and motivation amongst many others. More often than not, regardless of where a coaching session might have started, a client would end up talking about confidence or how they didn't feel confident enough. On many occasions this discussion around confidence would also lead onto talking about their weight and how they felt about their body. For many people when this area of their lives is not how they would like it to be, they feel unable to progress in other areas. For this reason, I felt drawn to specialising in helping people find the peace that they are looking for with their bodies, so that they can get on with the rest of their lives and achieve all that they want to.
A person’s eating habits and body size are a complicated mix of their biology, lifestyle, culture, and emotional landscape. These factors are also heavily interlinked just to make the picture even more complicated. At a time when more and more people are struggling with their weight, the standard advice is to 'eat less and exercise more'. I know this to be an ineffective solution first hand, and for that reason I have developed the Body Peace Programme. This focuses on helping people to create and sustain the habits that will work for them as individuals in the long term.
Diets don't work, as they are unsustainable and often lead to a yoyo effect as the body tries to regain lost weight as a survival mechanism. To achieve long term weight loss requires an approach that takes this information into account, and helps a person to adopt a lifestyle that gives them the results that they want and is in line with their values.

I decided to become a coach when I started to ask myself some important questions about what I wanted out of my life. I have always had a profound interest in human behaviour, hence pursuing psychology at university and training as a professional actress. However, it was through asking myself the right questions and inadvertently coaching myself, that I decided to train to become a professional coach with the Coaching Academy. Similarly, it is through coaching that I aim to help my clients find their own answers and motivation to create the outcomes that they want.

After the initial free consultation session, the fee is £100 per session.
