Louise Rickard - LONE PINE
0796 423 9211
Hi and welcome to my site
I offer coaching for personal and professional development. I'm a big believer in the creative power of people. I coach to EMPOWER and VALIDATE clients and to REFRAME their issues so they can achieve their goals
I coach for organisations and privately on all sorts of issues to do with life and work:
TYPES OF COACHING I OFFER
- Executive and business coaching
Management and leadership development; how to lead change, and think strategically.
I also offer assertiveness training, how to deal with tricky people, motivation, confidence coaching, presentation and communication skills training and conflict resolution; and how to deal with pressure and stress and create healthy work/life balance.
- Life coach
Looking at the challenges, chaos and joys that life brings; that might include dealing with change; transforming all sorts of conflict; having the space to re-charge check in with yourself and find your path forward to realise the life that you want.
- Career coach:
Taking the next step with your career (going for promotion; changing jobs; setting out alone; retiring); juggling work and home life, CV and interview preparation, and using sites like Linked In for redundancy proofing and networking
This reads like a long list- but basically
COACHING is about HELPING YOU to figure out YOUR LIFE right now.
WHERE I WORK
I coach in person across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, London, and Cardiff / South Wales, and via phone, facetime or skype just about anywhere!
I use Skype and face-time a lot for coaching, because it avoids the extra travel time and expense for clients: I find that for clients avoiding stressful travel can often help and make the coaching work as or more efficient than face to face coaching- and easier to fit into a busy schedule. Some clients however prefer to have the time away from office, family, and work and find having this ring-fenced time to think works best for them. Clients can also chop and change between face to face and skype/phone to fit their diary and sessions can be changed up to 36h beforehand. Everyone is different and I offer flexible coaching to recognize that.
HOW I WORK:
Coaching tends to be a transformative journey for the client from where they are now to achieving the to the lasting change you want - most likely its taken a few decades getting to where you are right now and its a question of exploring options changing direction and moving towards the new.
I am pragmatic and results orientated and help you understand your strengths, your impact on others, and how you can use this information within your everyday working life.
Clients pay for a longer first session (1.5 hours) and then if they decide to go ahead they sign up to a block of sessions. In practice the first half hour of this is a chemistry session- so you as the client can get a feel for me and how I work- if you decide its not going to then you are free to leave it there and I will reimburse you.
The first coaching conversation is a longer session (90 minutes), and is used to scope out the issue and test the "chemistry" to make sure the coaching relationship is going to work.
Most issues then need a series of sessions, and I find a block of sessions over a couple of months allows us to work in a more structured way, and is more likely to lead to the lasting results you want. There are two main blocks of sessions- eight sessions over three months is the classic transformative coaching journey, it allows the client the time to figure out what needs changing, to decide what they want to change to and to have support during the process of moving towards that change so they don't fall back into old habits. Its hugely successful for all sorts of issues.
There is also a shorter coaching journey of 4 sessions over 6 weeks, this will help you understand what needs changing and start to design what the new will look like, Because its a shorter process it does not really accompany you in making those changes. It's very successful for more specific and defined issues.
I also offer single coaching sessions on an ad hoc basis- this works out more expensive but some clients like the flexibility of this, andI also offer a telephone support package for up to 60 minutes of phone time every month in three shorter conversations.
Everyone is different -so hopefully in here are the ingredients for the coaching that will best suit you and your issue - and if not then please contact me and discuss!
The booking system is automatic - and so are payments - you can very simply go online and book a time or a series of sessions that work for you- and you can also find my prices here:
If you would like the session to be via skype or phone just check the box (and remember that you can also change a session to phone/skype if a work trip comes up unexpectedly or you have to be home with sick kids or whatever).
