About me

Feel the need for some focus? Aching for adventures? Dreaming of developing a new direction in mid-life?

I know what it’s like to be teetering on the brink of change in my 40s and wondering about whether to take that big leap or not, and I'm so glad I did! Now I help women create change for a joyful mid-life and beyond - we've only got the one life after all.  If you want to focus on your personal development and are thinking about making some changes then I'll be your trusted guide and supportive confidante on your journey.

As I divide my time between the UK and France I work with women wherever they are via Skype or phone.

Training, qualifications & experience

I’m a fully qualified Coach and Mentor based in Bristol, UK and Languedoc, France.  I hold the following additional qualifications:

  • Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner
  • Certificate in Advanced Personal Development

I’m a Member of the UK College for Personal Development, continuing to learn and develop my practice through on-going training and personal growth.

My real passion is in positive psychology and the science of happiness – I want to understand how our amazing brains and our extraordinary minds work – so that I can help the women I support live truly joyful lives.

And before all this?  Well, in the past I worked as a counsellor for a rape and sexual abuse crisis line and as a support worker for women and children experiencing domestic violence.

I’ve got extensive experience in arts administration, project management and finance/funding in the voluntary sector.

Other areas of coaching I deal with

NLP (neuro linguistic programming), which can give you more conscious choice over what you do and how you behave. It draws on our inner language and beliefs about ourselves and the world around us, often giving you an easy to use process that you can begin using straight away.

Fees

A normal session lasts an hour and 15 minutes. In that time you could expect to achieve some solid progress, but in order to support you in making real changes in your life I strongly recommend that you consider coaching as an on-going process and not a 'one off'. For that reason my fees vary depending on the number of sessions you pre-book. All the up to date information is available on the Coaching Services page of my website.

I have a limited number of concessionary places for people in receipt of benefits.
