About me

My name is Holly Miles and I am a Health and Wellness Coach, NLP Practitioner and Dietary Educator.

Health and Wellness Coaching encourages individuals to accept responsibility for their own health.   This may be anything from making diet and lifestyle changes to improve fitness or support weight-loss, finding ways of working through the challenges associated with a specific health issue, or addressing the underlying causes of stress such as issues with self esteem or poor work life balance.

Personalised Weight Loss Programme

Many of my clients come to me for support with weight loss because I offer a personalised approach  which addresses both the physical and psychological aspects of weight loss:

  • Dietary Support –  finding a balanced diet that works for you; taking into account your likes and dislikes, time and budget. I also offer support with meal ideas and food shopping.
  • Physical exercise – identifying what you enjoy and feel prepared to commit to; whether this is going to the gym, or just moving around a little bit more
  • Health concerns – looking at addressing minor health concerns, whether that be through a referral back to the GP or tackling health niggles through diet and lifestyle
  • Time management – finding time to focus on yourself and your goals
  • Overcoming barriers to change - unhelpful habits, self-sabotaging behvaiours and limiting beliefs
  • Accountability
  • Someone to talk to when you’ve hit a bump in the road

Training, qualifications & experience

I currently run a small coaching practice from my home in High Wycombe.  Many of my clients come to me via my website, but I also receive referrals from a private GP practice in Buckinghamshire

Qualifications and Training

  • I have just completed an MSc in Personalised Nutrition (awaiting award) and I am also in the process of completing a Nutritional Therapy Practice Diploma (NTPD).  Upon completion of the NTPD (June 2017) I will be an MSc qualified Nutritional Therapist.
  • BSc (hons) in Physiology
  • PGCE in Science
  • Qualified Dietary Educator
  • Certified NLP practitioner - NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming and is a method used by some coaches to help clients identify and overcome thoughts and behaviours which are having a negative impact on their lives.   I am also a professional member of the ANLP (Association for Neuro-linguistic Programming).
  • I have undertaken additional NLP training which focussed specifically on weight management


After completing a BSc in physiology in 1996, I trained and qualified as a teacher and spent some time working in that capacity.  I also spent a number of years in the corporate world, and have experience working both in market research (automotive company) and marketing (large food manufacturer).  Since having my family I have re-trained as a Coach, NLP practitioner and Dietary educator, which coupled with a background in science ideally placed me to work as a Health and Wellness coach, and this has been my focus for the last couple of years.

Introductory 30 minutes - FREE

Initial session of 90 minutes - £80

Further sessions of 60 minutes - £60

Monthly Coaching Package

This package includes 2 x face to face consultations of approximately 1 hour each, 2 x 15 minute telephone consultations and unlimited* texts and emails (* this includes answering quick questions relating to your programme.  Requests which require a significant amount of my time may incur an additional charge).

This coaching package costs an upfront monthly fee of £120

Group presentations/workshops

As a dietary educator I offer group presentations and workshops.  These will be tailored to the needs of the group, but generally include educational information on various areas of health and nutrition, alongside motivational coaching strategies.  For further information and to discuss pricing please get in touch.
