I offer life coaching services. This means you get to talk and work through something that is affecting your life and come away with a plan to make the change you want and the confidence knowing that you have been listened to properly, then considered all the options and made the right decision for you.
I am able to work with you on any or all of the following:

- Recognising the right path for you and how to go about getting it
- Making changes to your life to create the balance you desire
Depending on your preference, you need to choose a venue where you will feel able to talk and think clearly. I can offer:
A calm, safe environment in a therapy room with a relaxed atmosphere. The open and friendly ambiance of a cafe, talking over a cup of tea. Phone consultation, where you are able to choose a private space you feel comfortable in.

Background in education (BSC Hons, PGCE); Postgraduate certificate in Coaching; 14 years experience of helping people achieve their goals; approachable; happy; excellent listener; non-judgemental

- Managing, Coaching and Mentoring Staff, effectively, getting the best out of them.
- I have coached mothers returning to work after years out of the job market
- Acted as a coach with people planning life changing events, such as: weddings, year out travelling and partnership break-ups

Questions clients often ask:
What do I get out of a life coach session?
You get to talk and work through something that is affecting your life and come away with a plan to make the change you want and the confidence knowing that you have been listened to properly, then considered all the options and made the right decision for you.
Does a life coach tell me what to do?
No. Your coach believes you actually know the answer inside and they help you unlock it. If you want the coach to tell you what they think, they will, but any action decided on in a session has to have been chosen by you because you want to do it, not because someone else thinks you should.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on how many things you want to work on but most people only need two or three once a year at most. So say you want to change a specific thing about your life, we would sit down, talk it through, draw up a plan in the first session and then have a follow up session to support you making that change. That’s all that is needed for most clients.
What happens in a session?
The first session is all about you – finding out what you want. Once we have determined what you want to change, we go through all the possible options and decide what action you want to take. Then we set up a plan for you to carry out with a realistic time frame. Your coach takes away notes made in the session and will then mail you your action plan.
The next session(s) support you in making the change you desire. This session revisits the original plan and we look at progress made. We may modify the plan or create a plan following on from the original – It’s all designed to empower you, giving you confidence and more control over the direction your life takes. Again, your coach will send you an updated version of your plan to give you a reminder of points discussed and the confidence that you know what you are doing.
