About me

I am an integrative coach, counsellor and supervisor. I have been working as a counsellor since 2005.  I currently work in private practice, at a local hospice and a London-based counselling agency.

I have worked with a wide range of issues including redundancy, career change, starting a new role or business, work-life balance, self-development and in building confidence.

As a counsellor I have worked with bereavement, depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and couples work.

The benefits of Coaching

There are often moments in our lives when we're wondering what to do next. Maybe it's a time of transition or change when the way forward is not clear.  You might be feeling stuck and wanting to do something new but not sure if you can or maybe have many different choices. Possibly there's something you've always dreamed of doing or would like to do but you've been putting it off for some reason.

Coaching can give you the time and space to explore a range of options and find a way forward that works for you.

Feeling anxious or stressed about the future?

We don't always realise how much our emotions influence our decisions. Sometimes troublesome emotions such as anxiety can get in the way of what we are hoping to achieve, especially if we are going through a time of change. Having a counselling background means that I am used to working with emotions, including those which might be preventing you from moving forward and achieving your goal.

While you may not want counselling at the present time, working with someone who understands what counselling involves can be a great advantage. I provide a safe and confidential space where you can acknowledge anything that's blocking your way so that you can focus on achieving your goal.

'I came to Cathy during a crisis point in my life both professionally and personally, and the coaching sessions have been truly life changing. Cathy's calm, focused and tool based approach has helped me make sense of issues and root causes, learn discernment in conflict and build self-confidence. Only 6 months later, I feel like a different person with a new job, self-belief, boundary understanding and outlook.'  Sarah, HR Manager

'I have benefitted greatly from the coaching sessions. It has enabled me to be more focused, reflective and equipped me to be more productive. I have gained skills that will stand me in good stead for future years. I have also been able to implement tools to help me manage my time more effectively. The sessions are always engaging and cause you to think about the bigger picture. I would thoroughly recommend this.'  Tony, Team Leader
