Training, qualifications & experience
I have worked for many years in Social Services (Adult Social Care), Community Mental Health as well as several charities, both as an employee and a volunteer.
I have many years experience working with and supporting people with physical and mental health problems, as well as their family members and friends.
I love supporting people to make really positive changes in their lives, and have been fortunate to see many people grow and flourish with that support. Getting a great work/life balance might be something you are struggling with? Life coaching helps with that as well as looking for the right goals for you and finding ways to achieve them.
Life can seem like a real struggle at times, and whilst sometimes it is obvious why, at other times it can be difficult to put your finger on. Life Coaching can be extremely useful in either of these situations - things can get better, your life can improve, there is hope of better things to come.

Health - Anxiety
As well as Life Coaching I can work with groups or individuals who are recovering from mental health problems, using Wellness Recovery Action Planning, (WRAP) which is an effective and wonderful self management tool - I think everyone in the world should prepare their own WRAP - no matter what their current situation in life is. It can support everyone as they go through life and is not limited to those recovering from mental health problems - although that was where it started.

Our first contact will be a FREE 20 minute chat to get to know each other, to make sure we will work together really well. There is no obligation on you at this point.
When we decide on our plan to work together we can discuss costs then. In general Life Coaching is £50 per session, with packages of 3 or 5 at a reduced cost, making it great value for money.

The sessions also made me reflect on some negative aspects to my life but gave me the strength to address some of the issues. Anne Marie also gave me techniques for dealing with negative situations which I have been able to employ quite successfully.
The life coaching helped me re-focus my life at a time when I was at a bit of a crossroads. It enabled me to see my goals clearly and increased my self confidence.
All in all it was a very positive experience and I am grateful to Anne Marie for helping me focus my life, set new goals and feel good about myself again.

I found Anne Marie to be a wonderful listener and extremely empathetic. She also framed things in ways that made them much easier to understand and gave examples to illustrate her points. I found the wheel of life session to be very thought-provoking. It struck me that we (I) rarely take time out to work out how our life is divided up and what the imbalances are. I am a very visual person and I found the wheel made this 'accessible'.
