Do you know what really matters in your life?

Have you thought about lately what really matters in your life?
I mean really matters.
Our lives are so busy, we run from one thing to the next and we often build our lives around should, could and would and sometimes we even build our lives totally according to others expectations and things that we wanted and that mattered 10 years ago.
Can you allow yourself to like what you like? Can you allow yourself to have your own kind of fun, even if that fun isn’t what others proclaim as being fun?
What was fulfilling for you when you were 20 or 30 years old might not be fulfilling today.
Sometimes you need to stop and listen in and ask:
What matters to me - today?
What do I want my life to be like – today?
Who do I want to be – today?
Who do I want in my life - now?
Sometimes we are lucky to be living the life that we always dreamed of.
Sometimes we need to listen in and make tiny changes so that our life will be fulfilling again.
And sometimes – we need to listen in very closely and dare to realise that we need a complete overhaul of our lives. While this thought and feeling might initially be very daunting and even terrifying, because the changes or, rather, improvements seem so big, think about the thought of continuing the way you are going right now. Which thought is more daunting? Making the changes or continuing life for another 10 – 20 years in an unfulfilling way.
Maybe you will have some time to listen in this holiday season?
How you choose to continue is, of course, as always, totally up to you.
