When our coaching practice is also our business and livelihood, we have to keep finding people who will pay us for the help and value we can give them. We might quite easily attract people who are interested in, and could use what we're offering.

But how do they go from merely interested to committed to work with us? And what can we as coaches do to help that process along, whilst preserving our integrity and professionalism?

Networking meetings and the online world are full of sales and marketing coaches wanting to teach us sure-fire approaches and strategies that will deliver sumptuously paying clients more or less instantly - thereby attempting to convert us to become their clients. Studying their techniques can be as valuable as applying some of their teachings!

Nevertheless, and despite all clever tools and strategies, the reality is not that straight-forward, and at least part of the way in which someone actually becomes a paying client can seem a bit of a mystery. Particularly to the new coach trying to establish her or his business in a crowded market. 

On invitation by Kingston Coaching, Change Coach and Author Monica Castenetto will not give you another sales and conversion techniques training, nor claim that she knows the absolute truth or has found the holy grail of client conversion. Instead, she will share her real-life experience in the business-crucial matter of converting clients: Key ideas and principles applied. What's worked and what hasn't. And wisdom and conclusions drawn from the experience.
