In this fast paced and often chaotic world, we can easily miss out on really experiencing the special moments of life, becoming disillusioned, anxious and worried about the future.

Come and learn for yourself how the practice of mindfulness can help you rediscover the peace of mind and inner well-being that are rightfully yours.

Prescribed by the NHS and practiced by such worldwide organisations as Facebook, Google and Goldman Sachs, mindfulness is proving to be a popular and respected way of reducing stress and increasing happiness and productivity.

This session will bring together a small group of interested people for an introductory workshop on the benefits of practicing mindfulness, including mindful meditation and self-awareness exercises.

Whether you have some experience in meditation or no idea what the fuss is all about, you're welcome to come along and experience for yourself:

  • Mindful meditation and practices to reduce stress and increase focus and concentration.

  • Hear the scientific evidence for mindfulness at home and in the workplace.

  • Learn how you can incorporate mindfulness into your everyday life.

  • Connect to your inner peace, understand your stress triggers, automatic responses and how to clear your mind.

This introductory workshop opens the way for the six-week mindfulness based stress reduction course.
