1. Drink a glass of water with lemon
Instead of putting the kettle on when you wake up, opt for a glass of cold water with a fresh lemon slice. It’s a healthier beverage that can wake you up faster, aids your digestive system and provides you with a small amount of vitamins.
2. Set and review your goals
It doesn’t matter if your goals are big or small, we need to stay on course to accomplish them. This is why reviewing your goals and setting new ones is best done at the beginning of the day. Create plans to make progress, visualise how your day will pan out and determine which goals you think can be realistically achieved.
Exercising in the morning will make you stronger and healthier and it can lead to a more productive day. Remember that all mental health experts and doctors advocate exercise to make your life better.
4. Eat healthily
Take care with what you eat in the early hours of the day. While cereal is a popular choice, it’s not necessarily the best. Protein will serve you better in the morning.
If you spend five minutes of your morning meditating, you may benefit from a decrease in stress for the day ahead. It can also boost your creativity and give you a sharper focus, so why not try it?
