This is all well and good but what about all that unhealthy eating and gorging we do over Christmas? According to researchers the average Brit eats a whopping 7,000 calories on Christmas Day alone, and thats without taking into account extra alcohol consumption, staff parties, drinks, nibbles and get togethers.
Those of us who are trying to watch and control our weight often have a hard time to resist all the little treats which are on offer, and after spending the whole year trying to squeeze back into out favourite Christmas party dress often the festive period can be a stressful time when it comes to confidence in our own self image.
If you are struggling with your willpower and confidence over this Christmas then a health coach may be able to help you either rediscover or clarify your motivation for eating healthily and they will also be able to help you to devise a strategy which will keep you on track (and that doesn’t mean eating cabbage leaves when everyone else is having a roast dinner).
