How to prepare for a 'rainy day'
A local newspaper for Paris, Illinois, looks at how many people often don’t plan ahead, self-sabotaging their own successes.
A life coach comments that, when people feel they are about be successful in something, whether it be their career or home life, they often want to jump ship, fearing the the change that may be about to happen.
The idea of self-sabotage has become particularly prevalent in the recession – the age of buying things on credit has now come to an end, and now many are left without savings for the proverbial ‘rainy day’.
However, it’s important to be able to move on from mistakes, and plan further ahead, making change more manageable.
Whatever the change needs to be, all that’s required is a bit of commitment, and learning from previous mistakes.
