How to balance good stress and bad stress

An article over at Accounting Web, written by a life coach, discusses the pressure that accountants are currently facing, and how to deal with the stress.

It highlights how ‘good stress’, known as eustress, is important, and helps with motivation and thriving under pressure. However, it’s important to find the right balance of stress – not enough and it’s hard to stay motivated, and too much stress can cause mental and physical health problems.

The life coach also discusses how it’s important to find time to relax – and how it’s crucial to take time out when you’re at your busiest, as this is when it will be most effective and most needed. Being aware of emotions and when good stress becomes bad stress is also important.
