The rock and roll lifestyle isn’t known for it’s healthy living ethics, but it’s never to late to start, as an article on The Times uncovers.

Many former rock and roll stars are now turning to alternative medicine as a second career. Terry Chimes, former drummer in The Clash is now an acupuncturist and chiropractor, and Liz Morris, a former record company executive runs a osteopathy practice with her husband, who was a session musician.

So why are so many rock and rollers rejecting their former lives of fame? Chimes says his job makes people happy “by getting rid of their aches and pains” and is a refreshing opposite to the self destructive nature of rock and roll.
