What’s your personality type and why does it matter?

20th century psychiatrist Jung believed we are all born with a predisposition for certain personality preferences, and according to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment there are four pairs of alternative preferences: we are extroverted or introverted; sensing or intuitive; thinking or feeling; judging or perceiving.

According to a recent article, life coach Max Chadwick believes knowing your personality type means you can work to your strengths and gain a fuller understanding of yourself. It can help you make career choices, with pointers towards your goal-setting, time management and conflict resolution styles, and can also determine your learning style and approach, as well as decision and motivational styles.
